2012 IWLCA North-South Senior All-Stars
BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott senior women's lacrosse players Morgan DeShaw (Danville, N.H.) and Leah Neff (South Berwick, Maine) were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III North All-Star Team and will compete against the South squad at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, Pennsylvania on June 16th.
DeShaw and Neff, the lone representatives from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), will play alongside some of the best seniors from the region including a trio of players from the 2012 NCAA Division III champions Trinity (Conn.). The team will be coached by Cortland's Kathy Taylor whose Red Dragons reached the Final Four.
DeShaw and Neff capped off their four-year careers by being named the CCC's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively. DeShaw eclipsed 200 career goals this season after posting 86 points on 58 goals and 28 assists. Neff went 12-6 between the pipes with a .463 save percentage (150 saves) and a 10.47 goals against average. The senior duo led Endicott to their seventh consecutive CCC Championship and appearance in the NCAA Tournament in early May.
The IWLCA recognized 115 student-athletes across Divisions I, II and III on their North-South Senior All-Star teams. The events on June 16th will precede the All-American banquet which will take place at the Radisson Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania later that evening.
