BEVERLY, Mass. — The third-seeded Endicott women's basketball team (15-10) is set to host sixth-seeded Curry (6-19) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday, February 25 at 7 PM. Here's a preview of Tuesday's playoff matchup.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Endicott went 2-0 against Curry in the 2019-20 regular season (1/15/19, W, 74-41| 2/22/2020, W, 75-53).
  • The Gulls are 32-7 all-time against the Colonels, which includes an eight-game winning streak headed into Tuesday's playoff contest.
  • Endicott leads the conference in points per game (70.4), while Curry currently ranks last among the nine teams in the league (51.5).
  • Defensively, the Gulls are fourth in points allowed per game (61.9) and the Colonels are sixth (65.1).
  • Endicott's roster features three student-athletes who rank inside the top-15 in scoring in the conference. Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) is situated fourth overall among all scorers in the league at 15.7 points per game, while Kaleigh Putnam (Wallingford, Conn.) is positioned sixth (14.3), and Mikaela Rogers (Haverhill, Mass.) is 14th overall (11.6).

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner between Endicott and Curry will play the winner of No. 2 Roger Williams (16-9) and No. 7 Salve Regina (4-21) in the CCC Semifinals on Thursday, February 27, hosted by the highest remaining seed (time TBD).
