BEVERLY, Mass. — Third-seeded Endicott (16-10) and second-seeded Roger Williams (17-9) will clash in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament semifinals on Thursday, February 27 in Bristol, Rhode Island at 6 PM. Here's a preview of Thursday's playoff matchup.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Endicott holds a 21-18 advantage in the all-time series against Roger Williams. The Gulls and Hawks also split this year's regular season series as Endicott took the first contest (1/18) on the road, 72-65, before Roger Williams bounced back in game two (2/8) with a 60-57 overtime victory in Beverly.
  • The Gulls are 3-2 in their last five playoff meetings versus Roger Williams. Both of the Hawks wins have come at home in the semifinals (2/22/18, 58-50 | 2/27/14, 60-57), while the Gulls most recent victory in the series came on 2/24/15 by a 73-59 score at home in the quarterfinals.
  • Endicott is the last team to beat Roger Williams at home this season. The Hawks, who are 8-4 overall at home, will enter Thursday's matchup on a five-game home winning streak.
  • Meanwhile, the Gulls have not lost on the road in February (2/15, Wentworth, 86-47 | 2/5, UNE, 84-69 | 2/1, Gordon, 69-68).
  • Endicott is looking to advance to its fifth conference championship game in program history with a win on Thursday, while Roger Williams will attempt to move onto its third conference title game in program history.

The winner between Endicott and Roger Williams will take on the winner of No. 4 UNE and No. 1 Western New England in the CCC Championship game on Saturday, February 29 at the highest remaining seed (time TBD).
