Western New England Bests Endicott For Second Straight CCC Title, 18-9

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to Western New England (WNE), 18-9, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium. 

With the win, the Golden Bears (12-8) captured their second straight CCC Championship and earned the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. 

Jack Damon (Portsmouth, R.I.)Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.), and Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) found the back of the net twice, while Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) buried solo tallies in the setback. 

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) recorded 12 saves (13-5 overall). 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • The matchup served as the 10th consecutive championship clash between these two programs.
  • WNE improved to 5-3 on the road this season.

WHAT'S NEXT

WNE advances to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament. Endicott's season comes to a close at 13-5.
