Men's Lacrosse Bests Gordon, 18-2

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Gordon, 18-2, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Wednesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J.)Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.), and Matt Wright (Oregon City, Ore.) all recorded hat tricks in the victory. 

Jack Dacey (Guilford, Conn.), and Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.) both found the back of the net twice, while Nate Cuttitta (Williston, Vt.), Jack Dagata (Branford, Conn.), Jack Damon (Portsmouth, R.I.), and Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) all netted solo tallies. 

In between the pipes, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) turned away eight shots (12-4) in the first half, while Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.) stopped three shots in the final 30 minutes of play. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls have won 13 straight over the Fighting Scots (28-5 all-time). 
  • Wright notched the first hat trick of his collegiate career.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (12-4, 8-0 CCC) has earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CCC Tournament and earned an automatic bye into the semifinals on Saturday, May 3 (time TBD). Gordon's season comes to a close at 3-12 overall (0-8 CCC).
