No. 18 Cabrini Tops Men’s Lacrosse, 11-5

RADNOR, Pa. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team lost to No. 18 nationally ranked Cabrini, 11-5, in non-conference action on Saturday evening at Edith Robb Dixon Field.

Domenic Valera (Fitchburg, Mass.) led the Gulls offensively with a pair of goals.

Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.), Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.), and Nate Cuttitta (Williston, Vt.) also buried solo tallies in the setback. 

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) stopped 14 shots (3-2) for Endicott, marking his fifth straight game with at least 12 saves in a contest.

The Cavaliers answered Cuttitta's opening goal at the 12:50 mark of the first quarter with seven straight goals and never looked back in the contest.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Cabrini improved to 2-2 at home this season.
  • Valera has scored two goals in back-to-back games.
  • Matt Cawley (Westwood, Mass.) registered a career-high four caused turnovers to go along with three ground balls.

Endicott (3-2) takes on Springfield at Yale University on Wednesday, March 15 at 6 PM. No. 18 Cabrini (3-2) hosts Ohio Wesleyan University on Tuesday, March 14 at 3:30 PM.
