Men's Lacrosse Breezes By UNE, 26-4

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team bested the University of New England (UNE), 26-4, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Wednesday evening at Hempstead Stadium. 

Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) led all goal scorers with five tallies in the convincing victory. 

Domenic Valera (Fitchburg, Mass.) and Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) recorded hat tricks, while Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) and Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J) rounded out the list of multi-goal scorers for Endicott with two markers each.

Meanwhile, Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.)Jack Damon (Portsmouth, R.I.), Colt Green (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.)Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.)Jaden Elsinger (Richmond, Vt.), Matt Wright (Oregon City, Ore.)Dillon Moriarty (Wilbraham, Mass.)Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.), Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass,), Josh Newall (Shelton, Conn.) and Zach Hojnowski (Somers, Conn.) all netted solo tallies to conclude the scoring for the Gulls. 

Defensively, Joe Connor (Barrie, Ontario) compiled five ground balls and one caused turnover.

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) registered six saves (8-4) in the first half of action.

Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.) also stopped three shots in the third quarter, while Daniel Burger (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) made two saves in the fourth.

BEYOND THE SCORE 

  • Today's contest served as the program's Team IMPACT Day game.
  • The Blue and Green are on a five-game winning streak. 
  • Endicott is 29-2 all-time against UNE (10-game winning streak). 
  • The Gulls are a perfect 6-0 at The Nest this season.

Endicott (8-4, 4-0 CCC) travels to Nichols on Saturday, April 15 at 1 PM. UNE (7-7, 1-4 CCC) visits Roger Wiliams on Saturday, April 15 at 3 PM.
