Pagluiso Headlines CCC Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Award Winners

BEVERLY, Mass. — Three student-athletes from the Endicott men's lacrosse program have received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) was named the CCC Player of the Week to headline the group.

Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) also collected CCC Specialist of the Week honors, while Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) garnered CCC Rookie of the Week accolades.

Last week (April 3-9) for the Gulls, Pagluiso had a fantastic offensive week as Endicott picked up two victories. 

He opened the week with one goal and three assists in a 16-10 non-conference victory over Montclair State last Wednesday (April 5). 

Pagluiso then scored 10 points in a 21-13 CCC win over Roger Williams on Saturday (April 8). 

He scored five goals and five assists against the Hawks. 

For the week, Pagluiso totaled six goals and eight assists including one score on the man-advantage.

Barker went 46-for-66 (69.7 percent) at the X in a pair of victories for the Gulls. The sophomore specialist also added 38 ground balls. 

He started the week by going 20-for-29 (69.0 percent) on faceoffs against Montclair State in a 16-10 victory. He also collected 17 ground balls. 

Barker followed that up with his best performance of the week, a 26-for-37 (70.3 percent) game with 21 pickups. 

In addition to his stats as a faceoff specialist, Barker also had a goal and an assist in each contest.

Graap was one of the offensive leaders for Endicott last week as the Gulls posted a 2-0 record. 

He scored 11 goals in total and had four ground balls. 

Graap opened the week with five scores in a 16-10 non-conference win over Montclair State on Wednesday (April 5), which at the time was a career-high. 

He bested that total in his next contest, a CCC meeting with Roger Williams on Saturday (April 8). 

Graap scored six goals against the Hawks to keep the Gulls undefeated in conference play. 

He also had two ground balls in each contest.


WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (7-4, 3-0 CCC) hosts the University of New England on Wednesday, April 12 at 4 PM. Wednesday's matchup will serve as the program's Team IMPACT Day game.
