CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 1 Endicott, No. 2 WNE Clash Again In Title Game On Saturday (3 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — Top-seeded Endicott (13-4) and second-seeded Western New England (11-5) will clash for the 10th consecutive time in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship game at Hempstead Stadium this Saturday at 3 PM. Here's a preview of the storied championship rivalry. 

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Golden Bears hold a 16-12 advantage over the Gulls in the all-time series.
  • Endicott defeated Western New England, 16-7, in the regular season on 4/22/23 in Beverly, Mass.
  • Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) and Jack Houlden (Peabody, Mass.) are knotted at the top spot in the conference with 53 goals, respectively.  
  • The Gulls are a perfect 9-0 at The Nest, while the Golden Bears are 4-3 on the road this season. 
  • Western New England holds a 6-3 advantage over Endicott in their last nine championship meetings, and an 8-4 record versus the Gulls overall in the league title game.

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner of Saturday's championship contest will earn the CCC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
