Men's Lacrosse Doubles Up Nichols, 14-7

DUDLEY, Mass. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Nichols, 14-7, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday evening at Vendetti Field.

Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) took charge for the Gulls, notching a game-high four tallies. 

Domenic Valera (Fitchburg, Mass.), Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.), Jack Damon (Portsmouth, R.I.), and Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.) all found the back of the net twice, while Joe Connor (Barrie, Ontario) buried his first goal in an Endicott uniform at 11:17 of the third to round out the scoring. 

Valera also added five assists to his stat line in the victory.

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) stopped nine shots to improve 9-4 on the season.

Endicott nearly posted an 11-0 shutout in the first half (gave up a goal with 42-seconds left) and never looked back in the contest.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 25-0 all-time against Nichols.
  • Endicott has won six straight dating back to March 29.
  • Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) went 21-for-23 at the faceoff X, giving him four games this season with 20 or more faceoff victories.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (9-4, 5-0 CCC) travels to Curry on Tuesday, April 18 at 4 PM. Nichols (8-6, 2-3 CCC) hosts Wentworth next Tuesday at 4 PM.
