Men's Lacrosse Routs Roger Williams, 21-13

BRISTOL, R.I —The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Roger Williams, 21-13, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday afternoon at Bayside Field. 

Down 3-2 at the 5:16 mark of the first quarter, Endicott rattled five consecutive scores and never looked back.  

Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) highlighted all scorers with a career and game-high six tallies in the dominating victory. 

Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) also paced the Gulls behind an eight-point performance (5 goals, 3 assists). 

Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) produced a hat trick, while Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.) found the back of the net twice to round out the list of multi-goal scorers for Endicott. 

The Blue and Green also saw Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass,), Nate Cuttitta (Williston, Vt.), Jack Damon (Portsmouth, R.I.), Mason Grasso (Bow, N.H), and Domenic Valera (Fitchburg, Mass.) notch solo tallies in the win.  

Defensively, Joe Connor (Barrie, Ontario) caused three turnovers and collected three groundballs.

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) turned away six shots in 45 minutes of action (7-4), while Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.) recorded two saves in the final 15 minutes of play. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • In the last three contests, Graap has netted 15 tallies. 
  • Pagluiso leads the team with 18 assists. 
  • Endicott is 31-6 all-time against Roger Williams. 
  • Russo recorded his fourth hat trick of the 2023 campaign (22 career games of three goals or more). 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (7-4, 3-0 CCC) hosts the University of New England on Wednesday, April 12, at 4 PM. Roger Williams (6-5, 2-2 CCC) travels to Gordon on Wednesday, April 12, at 7 PM.
