No. 5/7 Union (N.Y.) Tops Men’s Lacrosse, 13-6

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to No. 5/7 nationally ranked Union (N.Y.), 13-6, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at Frank Bailey Field.

Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.) paced the Gulls with a pair of goals.

Nate Cuttitta (Williston, Vt.) also scored once and assisted on another marker, while Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.), Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.), and Domenic Valera (Fitchburg, Mass.) all buried solo tallies in the setback.

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) made 16 saves to move to 2-1 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Union raced out to a 5-0 lead in the contest.
  • The Gulls brought the matchup within two, 6-4, with 6:13 remaining in the second quarter, but Union rattled off seven straight goals to put the game away.
  • Luciano has made 15 or more saves in back-to-back games (career-high 20 versus MIT, 2/24/23).
  • Union is 6-1 all-time against Endicott.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (2-1) is scheduled to play Connecticut College on Saturday, March 4 at 3 PM. No. 5/7 Union (2-0) hosts Springfield this Saturday at 1 PM.
