Self Scores In Overtime, No. 14 Men’s Ice Hockey Edges Wentworth (3-2)

BEVERLY, Mass. — Primo Self (Grand Rapids, Mich.) potted a second-chance opportunity with 1:34 remaining in overtime to lift the No. 14 Endicott men's ice hockey team past Wentworth, 3-2, on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Self notched his second career game-winner from the edge of the left faceoff circle with a snap shot (top shelf—blocker side) following a wrap-around attempt.

John Goldowski (Buffalo, N.Y.) forced the eventual overtime session at 13:45 of the third period.

With the Gulls on the penalty kill, Goldowski intercepted a stretch pass by Wentworth's netminder in the high slot, drove hard to the net, and ripped a wrister, glove side, past the out-of-position goalie.

Self also scored at 7:05 of the first period with a left wing wrist shot that snuck under the trapper of Wentworth's tendy.

On the other end, Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) made 34 saves to improve to 5-2-0 on the season (24-7-2 career).
