BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 15 Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Johnson & Wales, 7-2, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Jackson Sterrett (Hendersonville, Tenn.), Michael Casey (Media, Pa.), Primo Self (Grand Rapids, Mich.), and John Goldowski (Buffalo, N.Y.) all scored in the second period (2:43, 3:13, 13:46, SH — 16:36) to break a 1-1 tie and run away with the victory.
Goldowski punctuated the four-goal outburst with a classic power forward deke move, going forehand-to-backhand across the crease in full stride from the right wing for his second tally of the season.
Self also found the back of the net in the first period (11:49, second career multi-goal game), while Willett and Jack Costanzo (Gloucester, Mass.) netted markers in the third (11:17, 16:57).
In goal, Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) stopped 21 shots to improve to 2-1-0 overall (21-6-2 career).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
