BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's ice hockey team lost to No. 6 nationally ranked Curry, 4-1, in Saturday evening's Conference of New England (CNE) bout at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
After Curry took an early 2-0 advantage less than four minutes into the contest, Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) got the Gulls on the board at the 14:20 mark in the first period to cut the deficit in half.
Jackson Sterrett (Hendersonville, Tenn.) and Ryan Willett (Bayville, N.Y.) helped set up the goal as Endicott was on the 3-on-2 fast-break.
From there, the Colonels scored two unanswered (2ND — 13:06 | 3RD — 17:24 PP) to come away with the victory.
Atticus Kelly (St. Paul, Minn.) made 30 saves in the defeat as his record drops to 1-1-0 this season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls hold a 17-8-1 advantage in the all-time matchup.
- The goal was Kurapov's 38th of his career and moved him into 4th place all-time.
- With his assist, Willet now ranks 6th all-time with 55.

Endicott (1-2-0, 1-1-0 CNE) travels to No. 13 UNE next Friday, November 15 for a 7 PM puck drop with the Nor'Easters. No. 6 Curry (3-1-0, 1-1-0 CNE) heads to WNE for a 8 PM matchup with the Golden Bears on Friday, November 15.
