Kurapov Claims CCM/AHCA All-America Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott junior forward Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) has earned CCM/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-America East First Team honors.

Today's announcement marks Kurapov's first career All-America award.

He is now the fourth student-athlete in program history to receive CCM/AHCA All-America accolades and the sixth overall selection (award history).

The CCM Hockey/AHCA All-American Hockey Teams are sponsored by CCM Hockey and chosen by members of the American Hockey Coaches Association.

CCM is the legendary hockey brand dedicated to the endless pursuit of performance by delivering game-changing, head-to-toe innovative hockey equipment to players worldwide.

In 26 games played this season, Kurapov has compiled 31 points via 13 goals (3 GWG) and 18 assists.

He currently sports a +21 plus/minus rating and ranks No. 39 among all Division III skaters in points per game (1.20), No. 53 in assists per game (0.68), No. 24 in game-winning goals, and No. 55 in goals per game (0.52).

The CCM/AHCA All-America honor also marks Kurapov's third postseason award this season.

Earlier this week, Kurapov was named a finalist for the Sid Watson Award, given annually to the best NCAA Division II/III men's ice hockey student-athlete in the country.

The Sid Watson Award followed his Co-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Year honor from earlier this season (March 8).

Kurapov is the third student-athlete in program history to claim CCC Player of the Year honors, once again joining Day and O'Brien on another exclusive list.

Additionally, Kurapov is the first student-athlete in CCC men's ice hockey history to earn Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year accolades during their career.
