No. 4 Men’s Ice Hockey Upends Suffolk, 9-1

EAST BOSTON, Mass. — The No. 4 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Suffolk, 9-1, in conference action on Saturday night at the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

Noah Strawn (Wareham, Mass.) and Jackson Sterrett (Hendersonville, Tenn.) paced the Gulls with a pair of goals.

Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.), Primo Self (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Zach Mazur (Lancaster, N.Y.), Thomas Albert (Reading, Mass.), and Cass Bowes (Sturgeon County, Albert) also buried solo tallies in the victory.

In goal, Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) made 26 stops to improve to 10-1-0 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 10-0-1 on the road this season.
  • The Rams have lost five games in a row.
  • Strawn registered the third multi-goal game of his career.
  • Sterrett notched his first career multi-goal game at Endicott.

No. 4 Endicott (19-1-2, 17-0-2 CCC) hosts Nichols on Friday, February 17 at 7 PM. Suffolk (6-15-2, 4-14-1 CCC) takes on Curry next Friday at 6 PM (home, Senior Day).
