No. 7 Men’s Ice Hockey Turns Away Connecticut College, 2-1

NEW LONDON, Conn. — The No. 7 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Connecticut College, 2-1, in non-conference action on Saturday night at Dayton Arena.

Noah Strawn (Wareham, Mass.) and Jackson Sterrett (Henderson, Tenn.) scored in the first (19:01) and second (:52) periods, respectively, to push the Gulls' winning streak to 10 straight games.

Meanwhile, the Camels broke up Ryan Wilson's (Shelton, Conn.) shutout bid on the power play with 1:50 left to play in the contest.

The sophomore netminder finished the contest with 24 saves to improve to 5-1-0 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Tonight was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
  • Endicott's 10-game winning streak dates back to November 4, 2022.
  • The Gulls are 6-0-0 on the road this season.

No. 7 Endicott (11-1-0 9-0-0 CCC) travels to the University of New England on Friday, January 13 at 7 PM. Connecticut College (2-9-0) hosts Hamilton next Friday at 7 PM.
