No. 14 Men’s Ice Hockey Downs Western New England, 6-1

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 14 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Western New England, 6-1, in conference action on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.), Connor Beatty (Concord, N.H.), Ryan Willett (Bayville, N.Y.), Elliott Clemmons (Rochester, N.Y.), Primo Self (Grand Rapids, Mich.), and Derek Contessa (Freehold, N.J.) all found the back of the net in the win.

The Gulls scored four goals over the span of 5:27 in the first period via Kurapov (8:52), Beatty (10:20), Willett (14:07), and Clemmons (14:19) and never looked back.

In goal, Atticus Kelly (St. Paul, Minn.) made 19 saves, upping his total every period (4-7-8), to improve to 3-0-0 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 15-1-0 all-time against Western New England.
  • Endicott is 3-1-0 at Raymond J. Bourque Arena this season.
  • The Golden Bears fell to 0-2-0 on the road with tonight's loss.
