Men’s Ice Hockey Skates Past Salve Regina, 4-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 4 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team downed Salve Regina, 4-1, in conference action on Saturday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena

Tied 1-1 heading into the third period via a Ryan Gaulin (Kingston, N.H.) power play goal, the Gulls soared into action and scored three unanswered tallies courtesy of Primo Self (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Connor Amsley (Carlisle, Pa.), and John Goldowski (Buffalo, N.Y.).  

Self got the scoring started with an even strength marker at 6:19, while Amsley (SH) and Goldowski (EN) followed at 10:19 and 19:06, respectively.

In goal, Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) stopped 24 shots in the win (7-1-0).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • With the win, the Gulls took the lead in the all-time series versus the Seahawks, 10-9.
  • Endicott is riding a 14-game winning streak. 
  • The Gulls are 7-1-0 at The Nest this season (seven consecutive victories). 
  • Goldowski netted the first point of his collegiate career.

Endicott (15-1-0, 13-0-0 CCC) travels to Curry on Friday, January 27 at 7 PM. Salve Regina (7-6-1, 6-6-1 CCC) hosts Johnson & Wales (RI) on Tuesday, January 24 at 7:45 PM.
