WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Western New England, 6-2, in conference action on Friday night at the Olympia Ice Center.
Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.), Drew Lorinchak (Hamilton, Va.), Connor Beatty (Concord, N.H.), Blake Benson (Centennial, Colo.), Connor Amsley (Carlisle, Pa.), and Matt Giroux (Bedford, N.H.) all scored in the victory.
The Gulls took a 2-0 lead less than two minutes into the contest via tallies from Kurapov (:24) and Lorinchak (1:26) before Western New England evened up the contest with goals in the first (8:50) and second (5:24) periods, respectively.
From there, Endicott responded with four unanswered goals by Beatty (2nd — 5:38), Benson (3rd — SH, 5:13), Amsley (3rd — 7:06), and Giroux (3rd — 10:50) to put the game away.
Atticus Kelly (St. Paul, Minn.) turned away 18 shots to improve to 9-0-1 on the season.

- Endicott is 16-1-0 all-time against Western New England.
