No. 4 Men’s Ice Hockey Tops Wentworth On Senior Day, 4-2

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Wentworth, 4-2, in conference action on Saturday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Prior to the game, student-athletes Thomas Albert (Reading, Mass.), Connor Amsley (Carlisle, Pa.), Elliott Clemmons (Rochester, N.Y.), Derek Contessa (Freehold, N.J.), Kevin Craig (Hyannis, Mass.), Azan Dorsett (McKinney, Texas), Matt Giroux (Bedford N.H.), Eric Johansson (Malmo, Sweden), Eric Manoukian (Manalapan, N.J.), Zach Mazur (Lancaster, N.Y.), Noah Strawn (Wareham, Mass.), Parker Schultz (Lombard, Ill.), Mitch Shaheen (North Andover, Mass.), and assistant coach Tyler Hanrahan '22 were all honored for their contributions to the program and the Endicott community.

Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) scored twice in the victory, while Connor Beatty (Concord, N.H.) and Amsley also found the back of the net for the Gulls.

Kurapov tied up the game twice in the first (1-1, PP — 18:27) and second (2-2, 10:15) periods, respectively, before Beatty (3-2, 1:00) and Amsley (4-2, EN — 19:41) helped put the game away in the third.

In goal, Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) turned away 26 shots to improve to 9-1-0 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 18-3-0 all-time against Wentworth.
  • The Gulls are 9-1-0 at home this season.
  • Endicott has won five in a row versus the Leopards dating back to 2/12/22.
