No. 15 Men’s Ice Hockey Doubles Up Nichols, 4-2

HARRISVILLE, R.I. — The No. 15 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Nichols, 4-2, in conference action on Saturday night at Levy Rink.

The Gulls received a pair of tallies from Derek Contessa (Freehold, N.J.) and solo markers from Zach Mazur (Lancaster, N.Y.) and Cam Speck (Burnt Hills, N.Y.), respectively.

Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) turned away 19 shots to improve to 1-1-0 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 15-4-0 all-time against the Bison.
  • The Gulls have won 12 in a row versus Nichols.
  • Contessa registered the first multi-goal game of his career.

WHAT'S NEXT

No. 15 Endicott (3-1-0, 2-0-0 CCC) hosts Western New England on Friday, November 11 at 7 PM. Nichols (2-2-0, 0-2-0 CCC) welcomes Suffolk to Levy Rink next Friday at 5:40 PM.
