\#Krista Fales\# batted .600 (6-for-10) and tallied a sparkling .765 on-base percentage over six games to help the Gulls post an unbeaten week. Fales hit safely in five-of-six games and added two doubles, seven walks, and was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen-base attempts. Fales’ best game of the week came against Wentworth as the freshman went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
For the third time this season, \#Jenna Bortolotti\# was named the Pitcher of the Week. Bortolotti turned in a stellar 5-0 weekly record along with a microscopic 0.22 ERA in six appearances last week. She allowed just one earned run in 31.2 innings of work, tallying 17 strikeouts and walking just three batters in the process. She logged complete-game shutouts over Roger Williams, Wentworth and New England College. A winner of 17 straight decisions, Bortolotti opened the week with 27 consecutive scoreless innings.
Endicott (25-10-1, 18-5-1 TCCC) returns to action on Wednesday afternoon as the Gulls will host a pair of games as a part of the TCCC Tournament. The playoffs are double elimination and begin on Tuesday afternoon as four teams will compete in a play-in game for the right to advance in the tournament.
