Carignan grabs trio of weekly honors
BEVERLY, Mass. – For the second week in a row, Endicott College’s \#Kayla Carignan\# (Laconia, N.H.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference’s Pitcher of the Week as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Carignan was also honored as this week’s Rookie of the Week and the ECAC Pitcher of the Week after going 4-0 last week as a part of the Gulls’ trip to Florida over spring break.

Carignan was one of the bright spots for the softball team in her first week after posting a 1.44 ERA in four complete game wins for the Gulls (5-5). She opened the week with a four-hit shutout of Wisconsin-River Falls and closed the week with back-to-back extra-inning complete game victories over Rutgers-Camden (nine innings) and \#22 Illinois Wesleyan (11 innings).

\#Kayla Carignan\# and the Endicott College softball team return to action on Wednesday afternoon as the Gulls travel to Dudley, Mass. for their TCCC regular season opener against Nichols College. The Gulls and Bison are scheduled for a double-header with the first pitch at 3:00 p.m.
