Endicott's Carignan earns conference honor

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott College freshman \#Kayla Carignan\# (Laconia, N.H.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference offices on Monday afternoon. Carignan pitched the Gulls to their first win of the season on Sunday, a 3-2 win over Nazareth College in seven innings of play.

Carignan had an impressive collegiate debut for the Gulls as the freshman allowed only one earned run on eight hits in seven innings of work. The rookie also struck out five while walking none.

The Blue and Green return to action on Tuesday as a part of the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla. by taking on William Paterson University at 9:00 a.m. and follow that up with a 1:00 p.m. matchup with Trinity Christian College.
