CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 2 Endicott Travels To No. 1 Roger Williams (5/7, 12 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — The second-seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team (13-6, 7-1 CCC) is set to travel to first-seeded Roger Williams (15-1, 8-0 CCC) on Saturday at 12 PM. Here's a preview of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship game.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Gulls hold a 24-6 advantage in the all-time series over the Hawks, but have dropped the last two contests after winning six straight versus Roger Williams.  
  • Roger Williams enters the championship game leading the CCC in goals-per-game (19.19) and goals against average (6.25), while Endicott ranks second and third in the respective categories (295, 9.11).  
  • Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine) leads the conference with 58 goals.
  • The Hawks are on a 15-game winning streak and a perfect 7-0 at home headed into Saturday's contest, while the Gulls have posted a 6-2 effort away from The Nest this season. 
  • Saturday's matchup serves as the sixth consecutive meeting between the two schools in the CCC championship, and the 10th overall in championship history. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner of Saturday's championship contest will earn the CCC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
