Prisco, Troupe Earn CCC Weekly Honors

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's lacrosse student-athletes Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) and Lily Troupe (Newburyport, Mass.) have received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Prisco was named the CCC Defensive Player of the Week, while Troupe garnered CCC Rookie of the Week accolades.

In last Sunday's 16-4 season opening victory over Coast Guard, Prisco recorded game-highs in draw controls, ground balls, and caused turnovers. She compiled nine draws, six ground balls, and caused six turnovers in the contest. Prisco also contributed offensively with the game's opening goal.

This is Prisco's third career CCC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week award.

Meanwhile, Troupe was a key contributor defensively in Sunday's victory as the Gulls held Coast Guard to just four goals. Individually, she secured one ground ball and caused two turnovers.

This is Troupe's first career weekly honor.
