BEVERLY, Mass. — The second-seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team (12-6, 7-1 CCC) is set to host third-seeded Western New England (13-5, 6-2 CCC) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday, May 4 at 7 PM. Here's a preview of the playoff matchup.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Endicott is 21-6 in the all-time series versus Western New England (seven straight wins).
  • The Gulls handed the Golden Bears their first conference loss of the season in a 17-13 road win on 4/16/22.  
  • Ten Endicott student-athletes were named to the CCC All-Conference list, as announced by the league office earlier this week. 
  • The matchup features three of the CCC's top facilitators in Endicott's Katie Wagner (Brewster, N.Y.) and Katy Garvin (Mansfield, Mass.), and Western New England's Hannah Jarvis (Westfield, Mass.) who rank first (39), fourth (27), and fifth (25) in assists, respectively.
  • Endicott is seeking its sixth straight appearance in the CCC championship game while Western New England hopes to clinch its first berth since winning the title in 2015. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner between No. 2 Endicott/No. 3 Western New England will play the winner of No. 4 Salve Regina/No. 1 Roger Williams in the CCC Championship on Saturday, May 7. The highest seed remaining in the tournament will host the CCC Championship (time TBD).
