2022 Women's Lacrosse Season Preview

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team begins its 2022 campaign at Coast Guard on Sunday, February 27 at 12 PM. Here's a preview of the upcoming season. 

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

  • The Gulls have advanced to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship game each of the last five seasons, three of which they have won (2017, 2018, 2019). In total, the Blue and Green have captured 12 total titles in program history (most in conference history). 
  • Endicott was picked second in the CCC Preseason Coaches' Poll.  
  • Head coach Maureen Spellman enters her fifth season at the helm in 2022. Spellman has amassed a 39-12 overall record and a perfect 22-0 record in CCC play. 
  • Endicott returns all-conference student-athletes Colleen Goodwin (Milford, Conn.), Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.), Jaira Paine (Granby, Conn.)Carly Pierce (Exeter, N.H.), Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine)Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.)Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.) and Katie Wagner (Brewster, N.Y.).
  • Tori Hurley (Glastonbury, Conn.), Pike, Prisco, and Schenk have all been named team captains for the upcoming season.

  • MIT (3/8, home opener)
  • Springfield (3/12)
  • Tufts (3/16)
  • Roger Williams (4/9, first conference game at The Nest)
  • Nichols (4/22, last regular season home game)
