Women’s Lacrosse Bests Gordon, 20-1

WENHAM, Mass. — The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated crosstown rival Gordon, 20-1, in conference action on Tuesday evening at the Brigham Athletic Complex.

Katy Garvin (Mansfield, Mass.) factored into eight goals in the victory (one tally, seven assists). Garvin's seven assists and eight points are both career-highs. 

Morgan Pike (Shapleigh, Maine) also tied her career-high for goals with five, while Alex Palermo (Reading, Mass.) finished the contest with a career-high six points (3g, 3a) to highlight the rest of the attack.

In goal, Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) and Kaitlin Bressette (Annadale, N.J.) split halves in the matchup. Akins picked up her sixth win of the season (6-4), while Bressette stopped three shots and did not allow a goal.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 21-12 all-time against Gordon (seven straight victories).
  • The Gulls are 4-1 on the road this season.
  • Garvin's seven assists rank tied for third all-time in a single game. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (6-4, 2-0 CCC) hosts Roger Williams on Saturday, April 9 at 12 PM. Gordon (5-5, 0-4 CCC) visits New England College this Saturday at 4 PM.
