MILTON, Mass. — The Endicott women's basketball team fell to Curry, 63-42, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Wednesday evening.
Libby Fleming (Bangor, Maine) led the way with her second career double-double via a game-high 15 points and 11 boards.
Sarah Dempsey (Windham, N.H.) and Emily St. Thomas (Sterling, Mass) also contributed eight points apiece in the setback.
Endicott led 11-10 at the end of the first quarter, but Curry responded with a strong second quarter outscoring the Gulls 15-6 in the frame to take a 25-17 lead into the half and never trailed the rest of the way.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott leads the all-time series, 36-9.
- The Colonels claimed its largest of 22 points (47-25) with 6:24 left in the contest.
- Endicott's bench outscored Curry's reserves, 11-4.
- Curry doubled up Endicott inside the paint, 36-18.
