JOHNSON, Vt. — The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Vermont State Johnson, 3-0, by scores of 25-13, 25-15, and 25-16 in conference action on Saturday afternoon at Carter Gymnasium.
Jackson Gray (Glenmont, N.Y.) notched a team-high seven kills (.667) to lead the Gulls.
Aaron Bennett (Haverhill, Mass.) also added six kills to the victory, while Nicholas Pascual (Clifton Park, N.Y.) filled the stat sheet with six putaways and a match-high-tying nine digs.
Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) and Ryan Childress (Odessa, Fla.) rounded out the attack with five kills apiece.
Matty Tiernan (Bradford, R.I.) and Dan Battista (Bethlehem, N.Y.) split duties running the offense via 23 and 13 assists, respectively.
Today's match featured 12 ties (3-2-7) and five lead changes (2-1-2).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 7-0 in the all-time series (all sweeps).
- The Gulls produced a season-high .466 hitting percentage.
- Pascual compiled a career-high six kills and nine digs.
