Men’s Volleyball Stifles Rivier, 3-0

NASHUA, N.H. — The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Rivier, 3-0, by scores of 25-15, 29-27, 25-23 in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at the Muldoon Center.

Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) posted a match-high 15 kills on 30 swings (.367) to lead the Gulls. 

Corey Klass Jr. (Beverly, Mass.) also notched 12 putaways on 20 attempts (.400), while Jackson Gray (Glenmont, N.Y.) ripped home seven kills on 10 swings (.500). 

Matty Tiernan (Bradford, R.I.) facilitated the attack via a match-high 38 assists and Adin Jepsky (San Jose, Calif.) paced the defense with a team-high seven digs.

Tonight's match featured 11 ties (2-7-2) and six lead changes (1-4-1). 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 2-0 against Rivier this season (W, 3-2, 1/22/25).
  • Set two featured some late ties at points 23-23, 24-24, 25-25, 26-26, and 27-27.
  • The Raiders fell to 3-6 at home.
  • Sixth double-digit kill effort for Klass Jr. of the 2025 campaign (season-high, 14, twice).
  • Gray has hit .400 or better when attempting 10 swings or more five times this season.

Endicott (10-8) visits SUNY Potsdam on Friday, March 14 at 6 PM. Rivier (6-8) takes on Arcadia and MIT this Saturday at 2/4 PM.
