BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Bard College, 3-1, by scores of 25-22, 25-22, 27-29, and 25-13 on Saturday afternoon in conference action at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Jake Laborde (Brookline, N.H.) led Endicott offensively for the second straight match with a team-high 16 kills (.353).
Corey Klass Jr. (Beverly, Mass.) ripped home 14 kills (.500) alongside seven digs, four blocks (one solo), and two service aces.
Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) chipped in with 11 kills (.333) and eight digs, while Matty Tiernan (Bradford, R.I.) posted his second career double-double via 48 assists (.533) and 11 digs (both match-highs).
Thomas Matchett (North Smithfield, R.I.) and Jackson Gray (Glenmont, N.Y.) were both forces from the middle with seven kills apiece (both hit .333).
Today's match featured 18 ties (0-2-15-1) and six lead changes (0-0-6-0).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 7-0 in the all-time series (five sweeps).
- The Gulls are 3-2 at home; Bard is 2-6 on the road.
- Tiernan notched a career-high 11 digs.
