BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team fell to Nichols, 3-0, by scores of 17-25, 23-25, and 23-25 on Saturday afternoon inside MacDonald Gymnasium.
Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) led the way for Endicott with 16 kills to go with four digs.
Corey Klass Jr. (Beverly, Mass.) added 11 putaways to go with nine digs and two block assists.
Matty Tiernan (Bradford, R.I.) ran the offense for the Gulls with 35 assists.
Dan Battista (Bethlehem, N.Y.) headlined Endicott's defense with a match-high 15 digs while Klass Jr. and Adin Jepsky (San Jose, Calif.) followed with nine and eight digs, respectively.
This afternoon's match featured 25 ties (1-15-9) and 13 lead changes (0-7-6).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Despite the loss, Endicott leads the all-time series, 10-3.
- Season-high in digs for both Battista and Klass Jr.
- Battista, Iacovelli, and Jepsky all finished the match perfect in serve-receive.
