BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's volleyball team has been picked to finish second overall in the 2025 New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) preseason poll to begin the year. Here's an inside look at the upcoming season for the Gulls.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Nichols, Endicott, and SUNY Poly claimed the top three spots in the NEVC Preseason Poll.
- The Gulls return NEVC All-Conference selections Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) and Jake Laborde (Brookline, N.H.) to the fold this spring.
- Endicott's schedule features eight AVCA preseason nationally ranked teams: No. 7 Springfield, No. 9 Wentworth, No. 10 Hobart, No. 11 St. John Fisher, No. 13 Nichols, No. 14 Misericordia, No. 19 Lasell, No. 20 MIT (Marymount also receiving votes).
- The 19-player roster features six freshmen, five sophomores, six juniors, one senior, and one graduate student.
- George Chapell '08 enters the 2025 season three wins shy of becoming the winningest head coach in program history.
