No. 14 St. John Fisher Sweeps Men’s Volleyball 

PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The Endicott men's volleyball team fell to No. 14 St. John Fisher, 3-0, by scores of 17-25, 27-29, and 15-25 on Friday night at Manning & Napier Varsity Gym. 

Jake Laborde (Brookline, N.H.) led Endicott with eight kills, four digs, and two solo blocks.

Aidan Iacovelli (South Windsor, Conn.) and Jackson Gray (Glenmont, N.Y.) also contributed six kills apiece.

Matty Tiernan (Bradford, R.I.) and Dan Battista (Bethlehem, N.Y.) split time running the offense (16 assists/10 assists). 

As a team, the Gulls compiled a season-high 11 solo blocks — Ian Hoskins (Rehoboth, Mass.) and Thomas Matchett (North Smithfield, R.I.) tied for the team-high with three apiece. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 1-4 all-time against St. John Fisher (three straight losses).
  • The Cardinals are 5-0 at home this season.
  • The Gulls are 1-3 away from The Nest this year. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (3-7) plays Manhattanville tomorrow at 1 PM on the campus of Nazareth College. No. 14 St. John Fisher (10-1) visits MIT on Saturday, February 15 at 12 PM.
