Men's Soccer Shuts Out WNE, 3-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team topped reigning conference champion Western New England, 3-0, in Saturday afternoon's Conference of New England (CNE) contest at Hempstead Stadium.

After a back-and-forth first 37 minutes of the contest, the Gulls took advantage of a Codan Foley (Carver, Mass.) throw-in, as Konrad Krysztoforski (Bydgoszcz, Poland) flicked on a header that Fisher Mills (Ridgefield, Conn.) drilled into the wide-open net.

Coming out of the halftime break, the Blue and Green tacked on a second goal in the 48th minute thanks to another Foley throw-in and Krysztoforski header flick. This time around, Krysztoforski's header went straight into the far side netting to put the Gulls up 2-0.

Endicott received another insurance tally via Tiago Frazao's (Trumbull, Conn.) conference-leading ninth goal of the season in the 75th minute. The midfielder was set up by Peyton Luther (Ledyard, Conn.) on the score.

Despite the Golden Bears threatening late in the contest, the Gulls defense buckled down and held the visitors off the scoreboard.

Freshman goalkeeper Brady O'Toole (Concord, Mass.) picked up four saves in the convincing shutout win.
