Men's Soccer Stifled By Plattsburgh, 4-1

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team fell to Plattsburgh, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action at Hempstead Stadium.

The Cardinals hopped out to a 2-0 start in the first half, but the Gulls stole one back thanks to Peyton Luther's (Ledyard, Conn.) first career goal in the 42nd minute. Luther drilled home a touch from Fisher Mills (Ridgefield, Conn.) to get the Gulls on the board before half.

In the second stanza, the Cardinals ran away with the contest courtesy of two goals in the 49th and 78th minutes. From there, they were able to keep possession of the ball for the majority of the half.

Michael McDonough (Dedham, Mass.) snatched five saves in the contest, a career-high.
