BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott junior goalie Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week, as announced by the organization earlier today.
The USILA Team of the Week recognizes 10 student-athletes at various positions across NCAA Division III men's lacrosse for their exceptional performances from the previous week. Only one goalie is selected among the 10 honorees.
Last week (April 25 - May 1), Luciano registered a 3.11 goals against average (GAA) in 96:35 alongside 13 saves in a 2-0 week for the Gulls.
Luciano was at his best when it mattered most as the junior goalie stopped 10 of the 11 shots he faced in a 14-1 win over Curry in the CCC Quarterfinals on Saturday.
This is Luciano's first career USILA Team of the Week award.
