BIDDEFORD, Maine — The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated the University of New England (UNE), 12-6, on Wednesday night in its Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) season opener.
Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) led all scorers with four goals and three assists for seven points.
Michael Hauptman (Medfield, Mass.) also played a key role in the victory with a six-point effort (2G, 4A).
Meanwhile, Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.), Craig Claflin (Natick, Mass.), and Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring with a hat trick, two markers, and a solo tally, respectively.
In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) earned the win in his first career start behind nine saves.

- Endicott is 28-2 all-time against UNE.
- The Gulls have won nine straight versus the Nor'easters.
- Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) notched a career-highs in face-off wins (16) and ground balls (7).
