BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's lacrosse freshman Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Specialist of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Barker was nearly flawless at the X for Endicott last week (4/4-10). Barker went 38-for-42 (90.5 percent) on his faceoff opportunities as the Gulls went 2-0 in CCC play.
Barker also collected 29 ground balls. He opened the week, going 18-for-19 on faceoffs with 17 ground balls against Gordon.
He then had a 20-for-23 performance at the X with 12 ground balls in a win over Roger Williams.
This is his first career weekly award.
