Fithian Named USILA Preseason All-American

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott graduate student Andrew Fithian (Marshfield, Mass.) has received United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Preseason All-America Third Team honors, as announced by the organization.

Fithian was one of 46 student-athletes chosen to be a USILA Preseason All-American and the only selection from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).

This is Fithian's first career USILA Preseason All-America Third Team honor and second preseason award overall (honorable mention in 2021).

Fithian earned the honor behind his stellar 2021 campaign which featured career-highs in ground balls (47) and caused turnovers (40).

Among his CCC peers, Fithian ranked first in caused turnovers (No. 18 nationally) and third in ground balls among non-faceoff specialists.

The Gulls, meanwhile, ranked first in the CCC in ground balls (499), caused turnovers (212, second-best 115), and goals against average (7.42) last season.
