No. 11/12 Union (N.Y.) Tops Men’s Lacrosse, 13-8

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to No. 11/12 nationally ranked Union (N.Y.), 13-8, on Wednesday evening at Hempstead Stadium.

Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) paced the Gulls with four goals.

Max Kesicki (Katonah, N.Y.) also compiled two goals, while Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) and Nate Cuttitta (Williston, Vt.) found the back of the net for the Gulls too.

In goal, Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.) and Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) split the first and second halves making five and six saves, respectively.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Dutchmen opened the game on a 5-0 run and never led by less than three the rest of the way (10-7, 00:36, 3rd quarter).
  • Union improved to 5-1 in the all-time series against Endicott.
  • The Dutchmen are ranked No. 11 by Inside Lacrosse and No. 12 by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).

Endicott (0-1) travel to Conn. College on Saturday, March 5 at 3 PM. Union (2-0) visits Springfield this Saturday at 1 PM.
