CCC QUARTERFINALS: No. 2 Endicott Drops No. 7 Curry, 14-1

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Curry, 14-1, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament quarterfinal round on Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) guided the attack with six points (2g, 4a).

Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) potted five goals and dished out one assist, while Michael Hauptman (Medfield, Mass.) register a hat trick to highlight the rest of the attack.

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) made 10 saves in 51:35 of action to improve to 9-3 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott is 29-2 all-time against Curry.
  • The Gulls scored 14 unanswered goals in the win.
  • Ryan Fincher (Westport, Conn.) collected a career-high 10 ground balls.

WHAT'S NEXT

No. 2 Endicott (9-5) will host the winner of No. 4 Roger Williams in the CCC Semifinals on Wednesday, May 4 (time TBD). Curry sees its 2022 season come to a close at 5-12 overall.
