BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott freshman Sarah Dempsey (Windham, N.H.) has received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.
In the Gulls' 67-60 victory over Emerson last Tuesday, Dempsey scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while shooting 9-for-12 (75 percent) from the floor, for her second career double-double.
Dempsey also had two steals and two blocks in the contest.
This is Dempsey's first career weekly award.
