Endicott sweeps Salve Regina

NEWPORT, R.I. - Steph Wiese (Higganum, Conn.) recorded nine kills and seven digs to lead Endicott College to a 3-0 win over Salve Regina University Wednesday night in The Commonwealth Coast Conference volleyball action at Rodgers Recreation Center.

Sophomore Brittany Phillips (Sudbury, Mass.) added eight kills and a match-high 15 digs for the Gulls (9-2, 4-0 TCCC), who improved to 8-0 lifetime against the Seahawks (6-5, 1-2 TCCC). Endicott captured set one 25-20, set two 25-19, and set three 25-19.

Junior Deanna Salter (Westwood, Mass.) led the Seahawks with nine kills while senior Rachael Cirella (Jamestown, R.I.) tallied 20 assists, 13 digs, and three kills (.429 hitting pct.).

The Seahawks return to action this Saturday when they travel to Colby-Sawyer for a tri-match with the Chargers and Eastern Nazarene.
