SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Junior Steph Wiese (Higganum, Conn.) and senior Brittany Nolan (Monroe, Conn.) were named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Player and Libero of the Week, as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Tuesday. The duo helped lead Endicott to a 2-1 weekend at the Gordon College Invitational.

The junior tallied 10 kills and five digs in a win over Wheaton (Mass.), added eight kills and 10 digs in a win over Univ. of New England and chipped in four kills and seven digs in a loss to MIT, a team that advanced to the NCAA regional final in 2007.

Nolan chalked up double-digit digs in three straight matches at the Gordon College Invitational, posting 12 in a win over Wheaton (Mass.), 13 in a win over Univ. of New England and 12 in a tough loss to regional power MIT. She added six service aces in nine games played.

The Gulls return to action on Friday evening as they get set to host their annual Endicott Invitational Tournament. The Blue and Green will square-off with Emmanuel College at 6:00 p.m. on September 5th, before wrapping up the weekend with a series of matches on Saturday.
