Back-to-back champs picked for three-peat

BEVERLY, Mass. - The two-time defending TCCC women's volleyball champions look to make it three in a row, as the Blue and Green were named the conference favorites in the preseason poll released on Wednesday. Endicott (26-11, 9-1 TCCC) received eight of the 11 first-place votes in the coaches poll.

Colby-Sawyer College was selected by the coaches as the runner-up in the conference receiving the remaining three first-place votes. Gordon College and Western New England College were picked to finish third and fourth, respectively.

Teams received 11 points for every first place vote received, 10 points for second place votes, nine points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.

Endicott opens the season on Saturday, August 30th at the Gordon College Invitational in Wenham, Mass. The Gulls' season debut will feature the Lyons of Wheaton (Mass.) at 9:00 a.m.
